After
graduating from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Trader finished
his Orthopaedic Residency in Milwaukee and served in the U.S. Navy,
obtaining his Board Certification in 1977.
Since
joining Orthopaedic Associates in 1978, Dr. Trader continues to serve
on multiple hospital committees at Holy Family Memorial Hospital,
including service as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff, now currently
chairman of the IRB committee. He also started the first Sports
Medicine Clinic in Manitowoc at Holy Family Memorial. Dr. Trader is a
member, along with other medical organizations, of the American Academy
of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and
American College of Sports Medicine as well as the President of the
Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. He also is a Zeit
Scholar of the Medical College of Wisconsin and a member of the Shands
Circle of the Orthopaedic Research and Educational Foundation as well
as the President of Orthopaedic Associates of Manitowoc.
David J. Kuester, M.D. - Orthopaedic Surgery
Trained
at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York
City, Dr. Kuester completed his residency at the Campbell Clinic in
Memphis and fellowship in Sports Medicine at Duke University. With this
interest in sports, he has organized baseball, golf and volleyball
seminars to assist local athletes and coaches in planning appropriate
conditioning for safer competition.
Board certified in
orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Kuester is also one of only two physicians in
the region who are sub-specialty certified in sports medicine. His
interest in new sports technology and minimally invasive arthroscopic
orthopaedic techniques has made him an innovator in introducing these
procedures locally. He also performs minimally invasive and outpatient
joint replacement procedures.
President of the County Medical
Association, Dr. Kuester also serves on the Workmen's Compensation and
other state level committees dealing with health financing for the
Wisconsin State Medical Society.
Carl A. DiRaimondo, M.D. - Orthopaedic Surgery
Graduate
of Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Dr. DiRaimondo completed
orthopaedic residency at Northwestern University Medical School in
Chicago, IL and a fellowship in sports medicine at Baylor College of
Medicine, Houston, TX.
Dr. DiRaimondo has a special interest
in sports-related injuries and has specialized training in arthroscopic
and open cartilage and ligament reconstructive surgery of the shoulder,
knee, hip, elbow and ankle and performs minimally invasive and
outpatient joint replacement procedures.
Dr. DiRaimondo is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and sub specialty certified in Sports Medicine.
Craig L. Olson, M.D. -
Orthopaedic Surgery
After graduating from University of
Washington with a degree in Engineering Dr. Olson received his medical
degree from Rush Medical College, his orthopaedic residency from Rush
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital, both in Chicago, IL, and his
fellowship training in the shoulder and sports medicine from Western
Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Sydney, Australia.
Dr.
Olson's current practice focuses on minimally invasive surgery for
joint replacement of the hip and knee, rotator cuff repair, anterior
cruciate ligament reconstruction and small incision carpal tunnel
release.
Sean T. Benham, M.D. - General Surgery
Dr.
Benham is board certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of
American College of Surgeons. He earned his BA degree at Marquette
University in 1977, his medical degree at St. George's University,
Grenada, West Indies and he completed his internship/residency at
Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Benham is married and
has three children. His hobbies include family activities, as well as
hunting, fishing and golf.
